Dog Shows

What is a Dog Show?
At a dog show, a dog's appearance, movement, and temperament are evaluated against the breed standard. A dog show is therefore not just a competition – it is also an opportunity to showcase the quality of the breed and highlight its best representatives.
The judge looks at several key aspects, including:
Health and Structure:
The dog should have correct proportions and a strong, balanced build.
Coat and Presentation:
Quality, color, and grooming of the coat.
Temperament:
How the dog behaves in the ring, interacts with people, and responds to handling.
Movement:
The dog's gait and trot are assessed for proper musculature, balance, and coordination.
Why Do We Show?
We show because we love it – and because it gives us the opportunity to:
Evaluate our dogs' quality against the breed standard.
Build the dog's confidence and socialization, helping them learn to handle new situations, people, and other dogs.
Share the joy of the breed with other breeders, exhibitors, and dog enthusiasts.
Document results, which is useful for breeding work – both for our own dogs and for future puppy buyers.
In short, dog shows are a combination of learning, socialization, and celebrating the unique personalities of our dogs and the special qualities of the breed.

"We hope that our puppy buyers will also be inspired to try showing – it's a fun way to explore your dog's potential and personality while meeting other dog lovers. We are always ready with tips, support, and encouragement, so you can confidently take the first step into the ring with your dog." 🐾
